Stir Fry Sticky Rice @Rosacooks

THERE ARE MANY KINDS OF COOKED GLUTINOUS RICE, AMONG WHICH THE STIR FRY  GLUTINOUS RICE TASTES MORE FRAGRANT, BUT IT TAKES A LOT OF TIME FROM START TO FINISH , PLUS IT IS NECESSARY TO GRASP THE RIGHT MODERATE MOISTURE, OTHERWISE THE EFFECT AND OUTCOME MAY BE DISAPPOINTING, SO I CHOOSE THE SIMPLE HANDY METHOD… BOTH STEAMED AND FRIED….SO AS TO

TO MASTER THE DETAILS EASILY AND SAVE THE ENERGY OF NON STOP STIR AND STIR..🤣

REGARDING THE INGREDIENTS  LIKE WHAT YOU LIKE, YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE OBSESSED WITH ANYTHING, AND SEEING MY INGREDIENTS ARE VERY SIMPLE HERE , JUST TAKE WHATEVER IS CONVENIENT AND  GET START…

 

Igredients:( 4-5 serving )

1 : STIRFRY GLUTINOUS RICE SURE MUST HAVE GLUTINOUS RICE…

– 3 CUPS OF GLUTINOUS RICE  +1 CUP OF Jasmine RICE…

NOTE * I LIKE TO mix  A BIT  RICE SO it won”t be  TOO SOFT AND STICKY

2  – Soak RICE 2 – 3 HOURS…not necessary soak too long

    -(I DEFINITELY WON’T IMMERSE OVERNIGHT…)

 

3 – three Chinese sauages , a small piece Chinese bacon

 

4 – a small piece of salted fish

 

 

5 – two salted duck egg yolks and 2 scallions ( chopped )

 

 

Steps :

1 –   WASH AND DRAIN the rice…

 

 

– COLD WATER IMMERSION RICE 2 – 3 HOURS…

*NOT NECESSARY SOAK TOO LONG

– (I DEFINITELY WON’T IMMERSE THE GRAINS OVERNIGHT…)

 

 

2 – DICED THE INGREDIENTS…SET ASIDE

3 – GREASED THE STEAMED DISC..Set aside

4  – spoon the rice on the plate evenly ,  and steam it on boiling water for 20 minutes with medium high heat.

     -turn off the flame and then rest for 10 minutes more.

5 – use a spoon to check the rice is cooked and pull the rice aside.

 

 

6 – saute salted fish ,  sauages and  bacon first to fragnant before adding it to the rice , set aside.

 

 

 

 

7 – saute egg yolk with 2 table spoon of butter….

8 – add the rice and stir…

 

   –try to crush the rice cubes, turn and stir-fry.

 

 

 

 9 – add a bit of chicken broth( 1- 2 cups ),

    then taste the texture , dash a bit more if necessary…

 

 

10 – pour all ingredients onto the rice and stir evenly…

 

 

11- add salt , sugar to taste , 1 tbsp soy sauce to brown the rice ,

   turn , stir and taste…

 

12 – finally add scallion ,  dish up and done.

13  – dash few drops of Tobasco  as preference….
