Sweet egg custard with Maple [email protected]

Steamed Sweet egg custard could be simple as ready in 15 -20 mins with a steamer and ….

Ingredients…

1:  5  large eggs       (300 ml)

2:  milk    150 ml    heavy cream 150 ml

3: Maple syrup       1 cup

4:  castor sugar      3 tbsp

 

Steps: 

1: In a mixing bowl beat eggs with  3 tbsp sugar ,

add milk and cream , whisk until creamy..

2: Strain through a fine sieve into a glass bowl to remove bubbles..

3: Pour  the egg mixture into heat- proof serving cups  and top each cup with aluminum foil

so as to keep surface smooth and cook evenly.

4: Fill the steamer with cold water and bring to boil,place the cups in the steamer..

5: Steam with medium high heat for 3 mins, turn to low heat for  6 mins,

then turn off heat and rest for 5 mins

6: Open one cup and insert a skewer to test …

7: Remove the cups from the steamer, serve hot with Maple syrup,enjoy.
