Miso Sablefish (Black Cod)~Japanese Style

A tasty Japanese Signature dish

Ingredients:
                       2-3 pieces of black cod  (about 1 1/2 pounds)  2-3 shallots
Seasoning:
                      Mirin 120ml   Sake 120ml  Japanese Rice Vinegar  100ml
                      Miso paste  2 tbsp   Brown sugar  3 tbsp

Steps:

1- mix well all seasoning, marinate the cod pieces in a bowl at least 3-4 hours

2-take out the fish and strain,pat dry and set aside.

3-Take marinate and slimmer on the strove until it turns into a sauce like consistency

Keep boiling until the sauce is thick

4-Preheat oven 450 f

Hot pan with oil,saute shallots,dish up and set aside

Fry the cod pieces with skin down for 1 minute

Flip gently and fry 1 more minute, then put the pan in the oven and bake 3 minutes

Put 2-3 tbsp  sauce on top of fish to make it brown in the oven (5-8 minutes)

When cooked, plate fish and pour remaining sauce,serve hot with rice and desire veggies
