Whenever I have any left-over mince pork , I would like to turn it into this simple snack which is so appetizing as a starter or a main dish as if you home alone…..

All meat-ball lovers should try this simple way of serving with fresh lettuce leaves ; a bite of freshness and crunchy with a savory taste for sure.

Ingredients :

1 –   300-350 gm minced pork

2 –  some lettuce leaves

Seasoning :

1 – corn flour                   2 tbsp

2 – light soy sauce          1 tbsp

3 – salt and pepper         1 tbsp  each

4 – chicken broth            1/2 cup

5 – sesame oil                   1 tbsp

6 – some  minced scallion  + 1 whole egg ( optional ..allergies concern)

Steps :

1 – mix minced pork with seasoning in a mixing bowl till well- combined.

2 – use  hands  or spoon to scoop about 1/3 cup of the paste and shape it into a meatball.

3 – put meatballs in the heated wok with a bit more of cooking oil about 3-4 tbsp…

-fry with medium heat…

4 – when the bottom side is just set , ( about 1 to 2 minutes..)

-carefully roll the ball with a spatula to cook the other side then…

-roll to the sides till all sides are set and browned.

5 – transfer browned  meatball to a bowl ready to steam…

6 – add water to a steamer and  bring to boil…

-place the bowl of meatballs on the steaming rack , covered ..

-and steam 10 minutes with medium high heat.

7 – turn off the heat and rest 5 minutes.

8 – serve warm over a medium size  lettuce leave , wrap it over and  done…enjoy.😋
