Hash Brown Quiche with Turkey and Bacon Crumbles~

A warm and delicious breakfast/brunch recipe using potatoes,

diced turkey,bacon crumbles and eggs,

simple  to make and impress everyone

on a cozy day……

Ingredients~

          1: turkey breast.  300-350 gm     Bacon Crumbles  100 gm 

          2: 2 potatoes ( peel and grate )

          3: Cheddar shredded Cheese    1-2 cups(personal perference)

          4: egg batter .. 2 eggs     fresh milk/ fresh cream 300 ml

                                  Salt 1 tsp      corn starch 1 tbsp

Steps:

          

          1: marinate turkey breast with 3 tbsp of cooking olive oil,

              1 tbsp of sea salt and black pepper for 5 mins

             

          2: place and steam the meat in hot boiling  pan for 18-20 mins,

              shred or dice after cooling

                     3: peel and grate the potatoes and press extra water,

                   add salt and pepper.

                   pour into a pie plate,press the crust into place,set aside.

  4:: preheat oven 350 F 5 mins , bake hash brown crust

              25-30   mins to all water was cooked away,

              brush a little bit of oil for crispy.

              Ready for filling..

  5: When the crust is ready,we can get the filing going…

      layer with meat, bacon and part of cheese,

 6:   slowly  pour egg batter over the filing  with final cheese topping

         7: bake 20-25 mins with 400 F

         8:  till the filling is puffed and golden brown,

              rest 10-15 mins before slice and serve hot.

Tips~ “This rich and creamy pie can use some of the left-over turkey from 

             Thanksgiving or Christmas instead of fresh breast…,it makes a warm

             inviting meal for the whole family to enjoy on boxing  day brunch.
