Beef Meatloaf with Easter eggs for Easter Celebration

Celebration for Easter~~

Prep time:  20 -25 mins

Cook time:  65-80 mins

Total time:  95-100mins

Serve       : 4-6 servings

INGREDIENTS:

1: 2-2.5 lb of ground beef

2: Shallots 5-6    garlic-1 head  spring onion-4-5  (all chopped and mince)

3: Coriander (shredded )1 cup   4-5  boiled eggs ,peeled and cooked .

4: 1 cup crumbled bacon

Seasonings-

 

 

1: sugar  5 species powder   black pepper   1 tbsp each 

    Salt and chili or paprika powder 1tsp each

2: Corn starch 1/3 cup  beef broth 1 cup 

3: sesame oil 2-3 tbsp 

4: 2 egg white 

Side Dish ingredients –  

1: cherry tomatoes 18-20

    * ( soak into hot water for 1 minute, rinse  with cold water, and  peel off the skin)

2: quail eggs 10-12 (boiled and peeled )

Sauce ingredients –

1: fresh tomato sauce    beef broth 1 cup each 

2: honey mustard  1/3 cup 

3: Worcestershire sauce 3tbsp

4: sugar 2 tbsp

5: corn starch 2 tbsp ( mix with water to form a corn starch water)

Steps- 

1: In a frying pan ,warm up the cooking oil with medium heat, sauté shallots,garlic and spring onion till fragrant ,dish up and set aside.

2: in a large bowl combine mince beef, add half beef broth ,mix and let rest 10 mins,

    gradually add in all seasonings and mix well.

   Then add in the remaining beef broth and egg white till all well combined and smooth.

3: add in the fried shallots, garlic ,spring onion , mix  and gradually add in mince coriander 

     and crumbled bacon to the mixture, mix and combine.

4: pour in  the starch water to the mixture  and mix everything together thoroughly and add sesame oil at last.

     (  *at this point, you can use hand to mix all mixture evenly , optional )

5: Once all ingredients are combined and season,   part into two portions,

     1/2 of the mixture place as the bottom later in the greased  baking pan  lined with parchment paper.

   Pat the mixture smooth and level,   use a paddle to press a center line ….

    and place 5 eggs in the center…

6: use the remaining mixture to cover the eggs, pat gently and use your hand to make an oblong shape.

Rest 5 mins. Heat the oven to 350 degrees F.

7:  Bake  45- 60 mins. After 45  mins,use  an instant-readthermometer inserted into the center should register 160 degrees.

 * Turn the oven to broil  and bake for 5 to 10 minutes more or till the top is slightly golden brown.

Carefully remove from oven ,dish up and let cool.

8:   making sauce  :  a- mix all sauce ingredients on to a pan,

 b- bring to boil, add boiled quail eggs and tomatoes , stir well .

 c- turn off the heat and rest 5 mins.

 d-  at last  spoon the sauce and mixture over the plate , then slice and serve.
